We need 1 PH pass for Easter vacation. If that trip gets resched, how difficult is it to get the ticket dates changed? Also, if they start selling new APs again, can the ticket be upgraded while at Disney?

This is just my experience; if you know ahead of time (prior to the trip) when your new dates are, it is a lot easier to change the dates (I could go on MDE, find the tickets and pick a new date). If the date passes and you have not assigned a new date, I've had them "fall off" MDE. You call Disney and they can find them and change them, but not all CM's know how to do this (I had to talk to at least 4 in a row to get someone to change them). And, yes, the last time I upgraded, I had an Undercover Tourist ticket and upgraded in park.

Thanks so much for the info. So just to make sure I am totally understanding, there is no downside to purchasing from Undercover Tourist instead of Disney. Date changes can be made without having to return & exchange. But...isn't there usually a price difference for different times of the year?

Once they are linked to your MDE account, the UT tickets function just like Disney tickets. If the dates you are changing to are more expensive, you pay the difference. If they are cheaper, you lose that money.

When I could still see the Undercover tickets in MDE, I could bring up the calendar and it would show me if there was a difference in price or not. If I changed it myself, and there was a price difference, I could just pay the difference on MDE and go.

Once they "fell off" MDE (when I didn't change them ahead of time because I didn't know dates yet), I had to call to get them to change them, that was the only "issue" I had with it being Undercover tickets; I got a CM who swore I had to call Undercover Tourist to change them (no, I didn't). I finally got through to a CM in ticketing that changed them right up for me.

Awesome! One more question & thanks so much. Should I wait to add the hopper portion on until we get there? Or might they refund that portion if unavailable in March?

Hopping is starting in 2021 (Jan 1st), if it should be taken away, it should be refundable (but I guess there's no guarantee). Having said that, there's no real reason at this point you need the hopping portion until your trip (you only need a reservation for your first park of the day). Another point; Undercover Tourist has always had good customer service when I called them, if you want to know if it would be refundable, I'm sure you could call and ask.
