i would like to go to ssr in dec/04.we plan on bringing my in-laws so there will be 4 adults and three kids.i'd like to book a studio for them and a two bedroom for us.can i get these rooms adjoining, or just side by side?would a studio be alright for them?i don't think the studios have a kitchen but i'd want them to eat with us anyway.
oh,ya, merry christmas everybody!!!:hyper:

You cant adjoin another studio to a 2bedroom. But IM sure you can get them close to each other.

That's awefully nice of you to get them their own space. Me, I'd put the kids on the pull-outs and sleep on the queen bed in the 2nd bedroom, give the grandfolks the master, and save the points from the extra studio.

"Adjoining" means side by side. "Connecting" has the door in between. You might be able to get an adjoining studio or nearby, but not connecting.

Studios do have a kitchenette, which includes a small refrigerator, microwave, toaster. If they would like their own private space (and you also), you could get them a separate studio.

As already mentioned, there are no studios that connect to a 2BR, but you can request that the studio be near the 2BR- nearby if not adjacent. Requests can't be guaranteed, but they do their best.

SSR will have dedicated 2BR's , as well as lock-off 2BR villas. All studios at DVC resorts have kitchenettes with microwave, wet bar and small fridge.

VB does have a lock-off 2BR that connects with a studio- making a 3BR (NOT a Beach House) available with elevator access. I think HH also has that ability.

Sounds like a great family trip!

Enjoy!

Thanks DOC, I did not know that about VB - you learn something new everyday

thanks
