Can this be done?

Have you considered putting her in the car in PJs at about 5 that morning & starting the drive early? If she's likely to fall back asleep for a bit, that seems like the best option, which still gives time for stops for breakfast/bathroom/ whatever else a 2 year old needs.
I wish. Once she’s up she’s up. Most days lately she hasn’t even taken a nap so I think we are close to her stopping all together. But she is a morning person and I think I probably could wake her at 6 without issue to get a head start. She’ll also eat snacks in the car so I don’t need to fully worry about her eating enough immediately. She has woken at 5:30 before but I don’t think I can wake her that early if she’s still sleeping I feel it’s too early. The biggest issue I see with waking her early is she usually uses her diaper when she wakes up so if I wake her I’m not sure if that’ll throw that off and then need to stop shortly after leaving to change her

My daughter used to get car sick at that age. But sometimes car rides are unavoidable. No matter what time I left, she's going to have to be in the car. That's kind of how I approached it...leave early and hope for the best. She outgrew it though. If you leave earlier, at least you'd have Ohana at the end of it. But, yeah, each child is different, so it's hard for me to say.

I think traffic makes it worse with lots of stopping and going. She does better when we can just keep a normal speed on the highway. So rush hour is my biggest hurdle. I think most of the traffic goes away after I pass Jupiter so if I could time it where I avoid it there I think that would help. I’m not sure when that happens though.
