Hi.

Although we are DVC members and go a couple of times a year, we also own a 3 bedroom dedicated week at Orange Lake, which we will be using beginning the Saturday before Easter with two other couples.

Our OLCC week, is usually about the guys golfing, but I they always look to me to book 1-2 days at Disney and some dinners.

This year, after staying at BR last month, I thought it would be fun to do a monorail crawl. I would want to start at BR at Geyser Point, take boat to MK and then walk to Contemporary and begin the monorail crawl. This way, we can have some apps or eat at Geyser Point before the crawl.

This will be the week after Easter so extremely busy. We are staying off site. Should I just put my dream aside and not do the monorail crawl?
I don't think we will be allowed in even if we Uber, is this correct?

I've never had an issue taking an Uber to the Contemporary when staying offsite. It might be dependent on how busy things are.

Other than Uber to the resort you could get dropped off at the TTC and avoid the bus ride.

Maybe that may be better? But, once I'm at TTC, I'm guessing it would just make sense to start with the monorail resorts since we can walk from TTC to Poly. Really, we could not even have to take monorail but guys won't walk LOL
It will be the week after Easter, so it will be packed. They don't know about Trader Sams and wasn't even thinking of trying there but maybe now I should if we leave early enough and go to TTC instead.

Just thought maybe starting at Geyers would give us food options.

Then thought, well, even if Uber has to go through gates and turn around, I guess we can just get out.
I am just worried that the guard will turn us away since we don't have a ressie.
I would MUCH prefer to Uber to WL since that is where I want the "crawl" to start and we can get a bite to eat there
first. I'm the ringleader so I want to make it as seamless as possible since no one else will have a clue, even my dh.

Take the Uber to Wilderness Lodge and mobile order something from Geyser Point. I have done this at AoA and Poly, was let through both times after showing the mobile order.

Most of the posts I've read stating that rideshare was turned away have been just before or near park opening time at near-park resorts like CR for MK or BW for DHS. It seems that so many rideshare vehicles tried to drop off at CR for rope drop that it became a safety hazard. I doubt that you'd have a problem getting dropped off at WL in the afternoon/evening. You might be turned away from parking your own car there without a reservation, but rideshare dropoff should be fine.
