Can this be done? Bounce-back question

So, I am going to WDW August 8-10th 2012. I have decided to stay now until the 16th for an extended vacation.

Since the discounts at WL at non existent, to extend my resort stay and move to the WL is pricey and that is where I could like to stay - but not a deal breaker to stay at another deluxe resort.

When I get there, since Aug 10th through 16th is on the bounce-back card, can I call and book a different resort, and get the bounce-back rate -- even if it is 3 days from me being there?

If I can do that, that would be ideal for me.....

Is this do-able?

so you already HAVE a BB offer? if not BB offers arent in every room...we have never gotten one. and I am not sure of there will be avability 3 days from your current stay as you have to book it before you check out. BUT if you already HAVE a BB offer and your booked now, I am not sure if they will let you do that since you have to book before you leave... call and ask. Maybe someone else knows more about it sorry

There's a bounceback offer out, and it doesn't matter if there's a flyer in your room or not... so I don't see any reason why you couldn't book three days out when you're there. The only catch might be the availability of WL. But there would surely be some selection of resorts.

Just want you to be aware that last year (2011) the BB offer changed on 8/8 - the room discount BB expired and a Free Dining BB started (which was to be able to book FD a year in advance for next years FD dates).

So you might get a FD BB with next years FD dates (Aug/Sept 2013) instead of anything for this August. OR you might still find the room only BB and be able to book your dates in August AND still be there when the FD BB starts and can book a FD stay for next year too!

Be sure and check here on the DIS to see if anyone reports a new BB offer right before you leave - and if they don't, as soon as you hit your resort room run in and call extension 8844 to see what is being offered

The OP already stated they checked the dates; so did I (I have the flyer from my recent trip). August 5-31 is included, as well as all of September.
