Can the kids meet Father Christmas there

i know he's in the parade (we visited dec a few years ago) but with the opening of the christmas village im wondering if the kids can get to meet the big red guy in person?

Yes Father Christmas can be found in Woodys Roundup Village in Frontierland. He has his own little village and the kids can meet him and have their photo taken by an official photographer too.

Yes you can meet him at Woody's Roundup Village beside the Chapparal Theatre (sp?) Watch out though to make sure he's feeling ok. We went out last week and the day we took the kids to meet him the guy was obviously not well. He was disappearing off to the toilet every 10 minutes so it took a while to get through the queue. To be honest we were nervous that the kids would catch something but they insisted on meeting him so we risked it. Thankfully they survived. To be honest though plague aside he was a bit disappointing I felt. Given it's Disney I was expecting a really top-rate Santa but I've seen more convincing ones in shops back home. Very friendly though.

My dd and dniece saw Santa at his grotto on Tuesday morning, he was lovely. No queue either - I was really surprised at this, but for one, the park wasn't busy midweek when we were there, and two, Santas grotto is right at the back of Frontierland, next to the Chapparal Theatre and the train stop. In fact, the only time I saw more than about a dozen people waiting to see Santa, was right after the Mickeys Wonderland shows at the Chapparal Theatre.

In prior years we saw Santa in the Studios. Whether this was because he was quieter or just that we got a top notch CM, he was fantastic. The troops had a great interaction with him. Santa even had a CM whisper in our ears to see what they might expect that he would deliver on Xmas eve night
