What are the dates the free dining is being offered on?

I know it has passed for me to get it but I am trying to book around that time....thanks

Free Dining has been offered, in the past, in April. Remember, there is no guarantee that this will be offered again. And as I recall, the available period gets smaller each year. This time I think it was only a 4 week period. I am convinced that the growing number of people who book rooms for the anticipated free dining time with the expectation of switching to the free dining, have had a detrimental effect on the offering. After all, free dining is an attempt to fill up Disney Resort rooms. If there are no unbooked rooms then there is no need to offer it.

That said, keep your eyes open next April and be ready to travel at the very end of August or in Sept.

In years past it has become available to book in April for travel in August and September. This year for the US it started Aug.24.

what are the dates for the free dining this year though?

the reason I ask is because I have plans to be there sept 5th-10th and I wanted to see if free dining will be going on while we are there...

yes it will...that is right in the middle of it. I'm not sure of the exact start & finish dates (Brits get to start a little earlier than the U.S. customers, and the people who booked it last year for bounceback offers get to stay a little later) but roughly 8/20 or thereabouts through to the end of September (actually, I think bouncebackers can have arrival check in date as late as 9/28 and then have up to 10 days of free dining.) The majority of the free diners will be gone by the end of September, though.

I can guarantee you the FD is going on during your dates...we will be there through 9/5, checking our 9/6 with FD. When I booked, we considered going the week starting 9/7, so I know it's in full swing then.

We are going from Sept 4-10th and it is free oh yeah the dinning is free,I will say when I called to make my ressies they did not include the free dinning I told the CM hold up a minute, you did not mention free dinning, he said you have to ask for the promotion and I said well lets add it. I dont know if you did not know about it, and I am sure your vacation is paid in full by now, I dont know what to say, this will be my first time going to WDW, maybe you can do something call and :worship: plea your case, I dont know well good luck:flower3:

Please keep in mind that as long as the free diners check in to their resort by the last day of free dining, they are eligible for free dining their whole trip.So you will have free diners at the world well into October.
