I am interested in finding out the price for cat 3 - we would be going in December.....2 adults and an infant.....

on the DCL website I think it says you have to call......

thanks!

I think the sales director on the Magic told me Cat 2 and Cat 3 were sold out until April 2004. If you are interested, I would call and see if there have been any cancellations.

lilly, check the cruise meets board and see if you can find a thread for the cruise you're wanting to take. If so, ask about pricing there. Someone else might have booked one or checked pricing already.

I inquired about a category 3 for our upcoming Nov cruise, and it was double the price of our category 6, so you could use that as a guide.

I checked about pricing for two adults one four year old for our 1/15/05 cruise. It was still available (as was category 3 for 1/29/05). I think an infant would be less.

DVCLady - Who did you book through? That seems to be a great price!

Does anyone know if the 3rd/4th etc. person rates are the same for the suites as for any verandah stateroom??

For example, the date I am looking at, 3rd/4th child is $599pp and for 3rd/4th/ adult it would be $799 pp, but of course the highest cat. I can get online pricing for is cat. 4??

My husband thinks I am crazy for even looking at a cat 1 or 2, but we could have our usual cruising companions in the same room with us & if the 3rd/4th (5th, 6th & 7th ) are $599 & $799 it is not THAT expensive!!

Thanks for any info.

$7,668.40 includes travel insurance. No air fare or transfers.

As of yesterday there were 4 staterooms left in Category 3 for the Feb 5th voyage.

Huh? That's all? the price seems very low.... heck the price for cat 4 (to fit our family of 5) is way higher than that on most cruises!
And when we first booked our trip- which ironically is Feb 5th, 2005- we were told that Cat 3 is waitlisted- unavailable... had to go on a waiting list- but you had no problem booking it? (when did you book that?) and said there are 4 more rooms available??

???????? I'm confused... why were we told none available for that cruise cat 3? Do you think that many rooms were booked then cancelled? We booked about 6 or so weeks ago...

(ps. either way- even if we stay with the 2 cat 9's we have now... we're still going to be on the same cruise as you! :) )

This is right on the money. We are sailing in June 2004 in 8086 during the more expensive season (along with the holidays of course) and the price difference is correct. I booked over a year ago and have been slowly paying it off. We haven't had a vacation in 4 years, so I was able to justify it, but probably just this once.::yes:: We also were very restricted as far as timing as I can't take the girls out of school at this point.

With younger kids go for the less busy season and I bet the prices will reflect it. I have heard May is a good time to go also.

Have fun planning.

HA HA HA- Whoops!
:o
I was just reading my signature that says "playing hookey" and realized I am a liar! But I can justify missing the picking up your report card and field day stuff-no real classes going on

I also know the price went up again for the following week's Fourth of July cruise, so that was all I needed for yet more justification

We have a cat. 3 booked for September 4-11 for 5 adults, transfers from the port to the airport and Insurance for around 8300.00.(give or take some...not totally sure of the exact price) It also includes a oncoard credit of 400.00 since we booked onboard and it was a increased credit do to one of the special San Juan cruises.

We are booked for a category 3 cabin on the 4 night Wonder cruise on June 13th and our price for 2 adults and an infant is $4938.55. The infant fare for the 4 nights was $162.85.

To see price ranges on all categories and extra person charges on Disney's official site go through like you are booking and when you get to the page that asks you to select what category, click on the link on the right hand side of the page that says "Compare pricing for categories and resorts". A new window will pop up with the price ranges for all Cat's.

Hope this helps
