Can someone tell me about Xcaret?

Hi,
We are looking at excursions for the Western itinerary. I was interested in Xcaret, but I would like to hear some opinions on it before we spend that much money. Has anyone gone? Also can you tell me how long you stay there? Thanks.

Xcaret is a beautiful place. We did this once when it first opened, and we were staying in Cancun for a week. Honestly, I think that for the price, it would not be worth doing because you have to spend more travel time getting to and from than you get at the facility. Just my thoughts...
