I just read about this and I had never heard of it before. We are going on our first Disney world trip Dec. 3 and have 2 dd's ages 13 and 6.

Is this something that my 6yo would like? Is is worth the money?

Thanks!!!

4dd & I had a wonderful time at the Tea Party earlier this month (Oct 19) here are a few pics -

DD5 and I are going for the first time in December (we can't wait). Just wondering, do the little ones wear all different princess dresses or are most of them in their Aurora dresses? DD has Belled and the Cinderella wedding dress, but no Aurora. Think she'll be disappointed that she's not dressed like her new doll or is there so much excitement that she's not likely to notice?

The girls are dressed as all different princesses! :sunny: Many Belles & Cinderellas arond. :goodvibes She will be sooo thrilled to be there that she won't even notice what she is wearing! :rotfl: :rotfl:
The only reason that my dd wore Aurorua is that was her newest princess dress --- I insisted that she NOT get ANOTHER Cinderella one! :rotfl2: She is so tiny (wears a 3T) so, she has 2 Cinderella dresses that still fit after 2 yrs! :rotfl: :rotfl:

Same here.....DD has several dresses from Halloweens past that she still wears for dress up. I did break down and buy both girls, DD5 and DD8 new princess dresses for our trip. We're doing the PSB lunch and CRT for lunch. And the DD5 and I are doing the tea party. So we're all set!

I think I more excited about the tea party than anything!

Went in August with myself (47), mother (68), daughter (24), Granddaughter (4). Best money I ever spent!!!! GD wore a nice sundress, as did the rest of us. Many were dressed as Princesses, but an equal number wore a pretty dress. This is a memory of a lifetime. All of us have been WDW many, many times and we all agreed, this was the single, best of them all. My GD is a huge Princess fan, so this was a special treat for her. I hope it is magical for you! princess:

We did this last summer with my dd's then 4 and 8. They loved it. We had belle and cindy dresses. Some of the older girls had nice sundresses on instead of princess dresses. dh and I both went, and he was the only dad in the room. There was one little "prince" who they made a big fuss over :) (He got a teddy bear instead of a doll)

dd4 still talks about the "tea" and dd8, who pretends to hate all things princess, actually had a great time, too.

I highly recommend this tea party. princess:

Do you think its bad that I only made a reservation for me and my youngest DD? I originally had all of us with DH and cancelled DH and 9 yo DD. The reason is, she is NOT into the princess thing at all! More like Capt. Hook and Peter Pan, LOL! And for this much money, its hard to justify it. My thoughts were it would give her and DH some special time for a different adventure. Still, I am a bit worried she will be upset like I am leaving her out. BTW, its a surprise.

I don't know your dd but.... you may want to have something really special planned for her and her dad to do together during that time.

Speaking as a mom of 5...it isn't always what the other did but, if they got to do something, also.

Your dd that is going to the tea party is going to get a doll, rose, bracelet, crown, etc..... Your 9dd may not want those items BUT, she may not want to get nothing while her sister gets those items! LOL! :rotfl2:
