Can someone tell me about the ipads plz

I am interested in buying the ipad.Firstly ,I am not very technical.Is it a wifi tablet that I can use on the move? Is it cheaper to et one in the US? Are the ones out from blackberry and samsung similar without the price tag

I brought DH an ipad2 for his birthday and we cant get off it. It is aTouch screen tablet we dont have the 3g so cant use it on the move others are bringing out similar models. the only problem we have come across is things that need adobe flash player to view..we love it and spend our time arguing over who's turn it is

ahhh I see what the 3G is for now.Out and about. I am in the process of renewing my mobile phone contract and one place is offering a free ipad2 3g with the phone contract at £35 a month for 2 years. I think perhaps it is a taj expensive just to get the ipad free when I can have a £20 contract more mins etc a 32"tv and an xbox kinect
I like the look of the blavkberry as well and the samsung galaxy. I am not very impressed with apple at the moment. My phone had a hardwear fault after speaking to them for an hour and a half sunday.Iv sent it off and I had an email to say nothing wrong with it,yet noone cold get it to work or even turn on.All this happened when I updated itunes. My friend has had nothing but trouble with her 4g. I do love the phone though.Lets hope when it comes back they havent wiped everything off!!!!
