18 days until we head to California and I'm DYING!! I've done all my WDW-veteran overplanning for DLR. I've planned our couple of days before checking in at PPH. I've read menus. I've watched ride videos. I've asked a million and one questions on here. Now, I'm out of things to do and I'm thinking this is going to be the longest 18 days I've had since the 18 days prior to our first trip to WDW.

Keep asking interesting questions on here, folks! I'll be reading it all to keep myself occupied!

Have you watched any of the 'Fresh Baked' videos on youtube? I've been binge watching. I suppose I don't know if it helps or not. It just makes me more and more excited, which I guess doesn't help the time go by faster. But they are fun to watch!!

How is it the days before a trip drag on forever and once your in the parks the days slip by magic?
I feel your pain, we'll be leaving for our first trip in more than a year in 4 weeks and 4 gut-wrenching days!!!

I leave tomorrow night, and the last 48 are particularly slow.

Watch some disney movies? Youtube disneyland secrets, tips, etc? Listen to some disunplugged disneyland podcasts ( which are all archived and include topics discussed)? Read a book on disneyland or walt? Take lots of walks to make all the park walking seem easy!

Some of the things we do to help prepare for a trip/pass time are:

Go thru pins and organize and take photos of collections we have so when we get there we know what to look for.
Pack up mini backpacks or crossbody bags for the kids. They carry their own snacks, water and pins.
Buy travel toiletries and snacks for the car.
Plan busy activities/games for car or plane. I used to print out Disney bingo and coloring sheets when they were little.
Go thru maps of the parks and plan our routes or ride order
Disney movie night-Watch Disney movies and plan a coordinating dinner to go with each movie.
I make lists of souvenirs to buy or snacks to try

I feel your pain, I'm leaving Sunday morning for my trip and this week is dragggggggging!

I'm reading the threads, trip reports, and double (triple) checking all my reservations, ADRs, etc. to keep busy!
