So I just booked a CRT breakfast for pre rope drop for the last morning of the trip I am taking with my Mom in May. It is exciting because this is a total suprise for my Mom, and her mothers day gift! I have tons of questions so please bear with me.
What is the breakfast like?
Is the complimentary photo with a princess?
Is it always Cindy or is it someone else?
Can I get a white chocolate slipper delivered to this breakfast? ( Mom is allergic to regular chocolate, so it is very important it be white)
Can I add additional non included prints onto our photopass?
Are tip and tax included?

Thanks Everyone !

http://allears.net/menu/menu_crb.htm This link has some info about the CRT and may help you out some. I think you will have to call and ask about the slipper and be sure to tell them that your mother has a food allergy and they will put a note on your reservation and at all of the locations that you dine at they will tell your mother what items ( in this case it would be the dessert menu) she should avoid.

Hi there!! I think your mother will be thrilled with this expierence! We had a great time. The complimentary photo is with Cinderella. There were 2 choices of breakfast to choose from. One was a sort of granola with yogurt and fresh friut, and the other was a traditonal breakfast with sausage, bacon, eggs, etc.. I'm sorry I can't answer your question about the slipper dessert. I've never ordered it. And as for your last question, I honestly don't recall there being any Photopass potographers there, so I'm not any help there either. All in all, it was a decent meal with fabulous princess interaction and an unforgettable atmosphere! Have fun.:goodvibes

We just had breakfast there two weeks ago and my 3 DS's had a great time. The choices were a veggie omlet w/sausage bacon, etc or the granola and fruit. They also bring out pastries before the food comes.

There is a photopass photographer there. I was able to add all of the pics to our photopass CD. It was Cindy when we went, so I'm not sure if it changes.

Tips and tax were included in the price.

Have agreat time! We also went before Rope drop and for me, it was worth the cost of the breakfast just to get the great pics of our family in front of the castle on a pretty much deserted Main Street!

Have been to CRT six times now, three for breakfast and we love it, sure your Mum will too. Most recently in Feb this year.

Breakfast is not worth the cost IMHO for the food, go for the ambience and character interaction. They bring a fruit bowl, quite small but we have asked for another in the past and they brought it willingly. Blueberries, kiwi, melon, pineapple and strawberries. cooked breakfast is stuffed french toast, bacon, sausage, potatoes and eggs. All ok, nothing special, no waffles or pancakes. Never tried healthy breakfast LOL.

Always Cindy for photo package, you get a package included with a large photo of the castle to the left and a picture of your party with Cindy of the same size to the right plus four smaller (identical) photos of approx 6x4. Two photo packages with five or more people. There is a code on the side of your photo which you can add to your photopass CD if you wish. We have never been able to add other photos to photopass though some people post otherwise. We have witnessed a couple of proposals there and the photographer took lots and added it to photopass but in our 6 visits we have never been able to do this. I assume it is difficult for them as you are very quickly whizzed through Cinderella.

Four princesses (although we have seen Mary Poppins, Wendy Darling and Alice in Wonderland in lieu of real princesses) visit each table for photos and autographs.

We have three times had the chocolate slipper, twice white and one dark chocolate. We were told when we asked that you are unable to request one specific slipper as it is whatever they have (one or the other per time). Not sure if they will pull out the stops for an allergy sufferer but if true about the one only in stock they wouldn't be able too.

It is very good value for money approx $15. Served on angel cake cushion, filled with milk chocolate mousse and accompanied by strawberries and fruit coulis. We always asked for a name or message piped on plate, included in price.

for main meal tax and tip are included. I believe this is also the case wtih DDP.

We JUST got back - ate in the castle on Thursday at 8:30am - I did not have a good experience....but I really think it is different for each person...it may all depend on what you EXPECT and if those expectations are met. Mine were not - but what most of the folks said earlier - it is very similar to that.

My suggestions are below to have a pleasant experience:

* First of all - this is the ONLY way to dine INSIDE the castle - make the most of it, take some creative photos around the dining hall (no one says you must sit at the table the whole time!);

* Take your time - don't fell rushed. You paid for the "experience" so "experience" everything you can!;

* Take PHOTOS and INTERACT with all the Princesses...ask them questions - get autographs, take many photos, etc;

* Eat and drink up! It is an AUCE breakfast (all you care to eat) so ask for more or sample all 3 choices they give you! Especially the orange juice - it is delicious!;

* Ask for a table by the window - in case you don't get one, definitely check out the view and grab some great photos ONLY available inside the castle! How cool is that!?;

* Celebrate an "early birthday" because your table is decorated with little Cinderella Carriages and other festive decorations. Plus a cool cupcake with candle! Why not?;

* Don't forget if the stairs are too much for you to climb - there IS an elevator right in the middle! Take it either up or down for an interesting experience!

ENJOY YOURSELF - this should be one of the MOST AMAZING DINING EXPERIENCES in DISNEYWORLD!!!

Make sure, if you order the slipper dessert, you specify about the allergy. I would call well ahead of time. I don't know if they make them to order or not, but photos I've seen of the white slipper has it filled with chocolate mousse (not white chocolate).

All of the places we have eaten at have done a great job taking care of a special allergy one of my children has ( including the chef coming to our table to go over the menu and often cooking something special taht is not on the menu so that he can have something that meets his needs) Disney takes special care of guest with allergies so PLEASE tell them well ahead of time and your mom will have a great time Contact Brenda she is the head of special diets and she can tell you everything you need to know and if they can make a special slipper for your mom she will be the person to get the ball rolling on that. Her email is Brenda.Bennett@disney.com

We did the breakfast in November and I hate to say it was the worst meal of the trip :sad1:

We had 3 options for breakfast - the granola you've read about, the veggie omelet and cream cheese stuffed french toast.

My dad asked if he could just get scrambled eggs ( they had them on the kids menu ) and he was told no. He asked if he could get the veggie omelet without the veggies and they said no.

There is a pic included with the price - ours was with Cindy.

The characters seemed pretty rushed too....

All in all, I wouldn't do it again.

Ate there last Tue 12/15/2009. By far the worst meal of the trip. This is my must do with every trip.:confused3 There's been times when the foods so so but this time the food was nasty and cold. The only thing I enjoyed was the French toast & orange juice. Everything was cold and dry.I don't know if this has anything to do with the menu change or trying to save $. We will be trying Norway at Epcot for our next trip. Will try one more time when the grandchildren get older. :sad1: Tina

I AGREE 100%!!!

This is one of the best advice I have read on this board (which is full of great sugestions).

Also, get in your head that character meals (especially CRT) are not about the food.

I have many great pictures from CRT because I walked around, took pictures, we talked to the princesses (DD4 was in a state of shock)
