I am not trying to get a dream by cheating trust me im not
but is there any pattern that disney seems to follow to give away those little dreams

It's all random, that is what magic is all about. Don't be looking for a clue or pattern. There isn't any. If you try looking too hard you'll be disappointed.

Just have a wonderful vacation and enjoy yourself as if it were any other year. If you get lucky enough to get a Dream then you'll be magically surprised.

No. And even if there were, while you may not be "trying to get a dream by cheating", you can bet others would.

That said: the only pattern I'm willing to divulge is that Dream Fastpasses tend to be given out before 12:00pm. However, they -- and any of the other prizes -- can be given out at ANY TIME (between 9:00am and 5:00pm) and at ANY LOCATION on property.

You just have to be in the right place at the right time.

Just enjoy the parks, don't waste time trying to find out "the Dream Code". We were lucky enough to win lanyards during each of our last two trips. We were getting of Rio Del Tiempo in October and getting into the fire safety exhibit in Epcot. It is totally random. See what you want to see and if you are in the right spot at the right time, it will happen. My father is a fireman and the kids have seen/heard plenty about fireman/firetrucks/ect. but they wanted to do the fire exhibit and we won. If it were up to me Grandpa could have taken them to his firehouse to see the truck, but we did it anyway and were rewarded. Just follow your families pland and enjoy instead of trying to hunt down the dream Squad.
