I posted in the wrong area, please help as I am very confused.

What are the benefits and negatives? I am going down the first week in November, 3 adults, a 5 year old and a 19 month old staying for 7 nights at All-Star Music, is it worth my while and how much extra does it cost?

Disney offers their Dining Plan which includes one counter service meal, one table service meal, and one snack per person per day at a cost of $38.99 per adult per day (I think it's like $25 per child). For travel beginning Aug 13 to Sept 30, the dining plan is FREE!!! This means you would pay nothing for food while at Disney! It's a fabulous deal!

DH and I are taking advantage of the free dining again this September....it was offered last September and we loved it!!!!!!

I am not sure if it is being offered for your travel dates, but I would definately call Disney and ask!

If I remember correctly the 19 mo old would not cost you anythng. We did the dining plan last sept and really enjoyed it...of course it was free at that time. I was curious to see if it would be worth paying for it, so I went to www.allearsnet.com and looked at the menus of places we would tend to eat and priced it out. For us it would be a savings over paying for each meal on our own. Plus it gives us the chance to eat someting besides all counter service meals.

The only drawback is that you pay the full rack rate for your room with no discount. You can not get an AP discount or a AAA discount. You are also required to buy every member of the party a one day MYW ticket.

No free dining on your dates.

"Free Dinning" would be what happens when your teenager learns how to play the drums, or your toddler pulls all the pots and pans out of the cupboard. :rockband:

Anyone know if there is a chance FREE DINNING will be extended into November?
