Can someone explain the "included" breakfasts?

We are staying at the Disneyland Hotel in June, with a package that includes breakfast each morning, one of which I believe is a character breakfast. Has anyone done this before? I'm trying to figure out if we need to eat somewhere specific (like a certain location in the hotel) and if the character breakfast is in certain locations only. Thanks so much if anyone knows how this works.

There is a character breakfast in the Inventions restaurant every morning, for hotel guests only. This is included in your package - so a great way to start a Disney day :goodvibes

Just to add - I haven't stayed at the DLH myself, so I'm not sure if the characters come into the restaurant, or if you meet them just outside.

Hiya , lucky you!!!

Disneyland hotel breakfasts are GREAT! But do get there EARLY or there will be queues. I'd never been anywhere I had to queue for BREAKFAST before so it was a shock the first day, the second day we got there at 7.30 and it wasn't too bad - park opened at 10 when we were there - with the magic hours thing I can't imagine it ever being quiet!!!!!.

There are characters outside the restaurants at breakfast every day, and in the corridors and the lobby etc.... Chip and Dale made one lift journey for our kids REALLY memorable with their cheeky antics.
The characters weren't in the restaurant, but were EVERYWHERE else - you get quite "overdosed" with them.

PS, the croissants and pastries are yummy, the kids loved some of the hot stuff - fried potatoes and beans , but the bread rolls could be used as rocks and the sausages were of the "interesting" French variety!!!!

Cheers,
Tessa

Thanks so much for the replies.......

So does this mean reservations are NOT necessary since I am a hotel guest?

I just get in line when I'm ready to eat?

Thanks for all the help!

Hi,

I don't think you have to book?

We never even thought of booking, just turned up and watched the kids freak out cos Minnie was there (day 1) or The mice from Cinderella (day2), dragged them to the queue (20 min day 1, 30 seconds day 2). We were shown to our seats and pointed at the buffet etc... So 10 months ago, you certainly didn't have to book and I am unaware of there being any mechanism to do so...
Someone else may be more up to date than me....

ps. it can be quite some time before you get your luggage taken up to your room when you check in, so if there's anything you NEED from it I would remove it before handing over your luggage..
We drove there, were valet parked, they disappeared with our luggage and it arrived in our room 2 and a half hours later after a phone prompt.. mind you, this was our only gripe for the whole trip!

Cheers,
Tessa
