Can someone describe the Candlelight Processional?

I don't want too much detail because I like seeing something new, but can someone tell me if the Candlelight Processional is mostly music or speaking or 50/50 mix? And is it religious? AllEars said its "a moving presentation of the Christmas story"-- but that could be many things.

We did this last November and it is very beautiful. I would suggest going to the second or third show of the night because it nice to see in the dark. First, all the members walk into the theater holding lite candles and singing and make their way up the stage, the center members forms what looks like a tree. Each night there is a guest speaker. I would say the show is 80% singing and 20% talking. The guest speaker tells the story of Christmas (usually speaks just a few lines) and then the chorus sings. The guest speaker speaks a few more lines and the chorus sings and so on though the whole story.

Depending on when you go it gets very crowded waiting on line to get in. We did the dinner package last year, we saw the second show and then had PS for Rose and Crown. This worked out just right as we were eating dinner outside on their patio just as IllumiNations was going off.

It's more music than narration (timewise, but it goes back and forth). It's also more singing than just instrumental music.

The narration is mostly the Christmas story from the Bible, but also the story One Solitary Life.

It's been going on for over 25 years, we only found out about it 3 years ago and it's a tradition for us, we'll be there every year as long as we can!

Yeah, I have all the fine details worked out.... planning a CP dinner pkg with dinner then a 6:45 show.... but I never really read what the show is like. Thanks for the info!
