Looks good to me! You have FP+ for headliners so that makes sense. and you dinning reservations don't have you losing too much travel time.

I don't think I would change anything!

Looks like a really nice, relaxing time. I'm not sure if you're RD people, but you'll get more of the headliners you didn't get FP's for in if you can make it early. Also not sure when your FP times are for, but you can always hit RD, bang out the hot rides in the AM then take a break back at the hotel before returning to the park to do more stuff in the evening (fireworks, shows, etc).

Looks good! Don't forget Le Cellier and Narcoossee's are both 2 table service credits on the dining plan so you'll have to pay out of pocket for some of your meals. My suggestion is to look over the menus and figure out which meals are the least expensive and pay for those out of pocket to save money.

Right on. Thanks, everyone! Has anyone done Wild Africa Trek? Worth it? Any other tours everyone loves?

I think it looks great as well! The only thing I would ask is if you plan on doing Rope Drop at MK on your second day I would say you could get on Splash easily enough without the Fast Pass at rope drop and it could be used for something else. Just an idea. I know when we did Rope drop at MK (November, so much different time of year) we were able to ride POC twice, then Splash twice and then Big Thunder 3 times in a row with absolutely no wait. Peter Pan is another story.

I am sure there are others more knowledgable about this especially for this time of year. Of course it is a non-issue if you do not intend to be there for rope drop.

Just a couple of things to think about....

This is really just a personal preference, but something to think about.... my family and I always want to go directly to MK to start the trip because it just seems like we aren't really in disney until we see that castle. However, we always use our last day for MK as well. It always seemed to feel wrong to me to end the trip is any other park. Maybe this is just me being weird, anyone else agree?

Also, I'm not a huge fan of the dining plan. I have always ended up with a bunch of random snack credits at the end and I have never found it to be worth the money. I would check the menus (with pricing on allears.net) and make some estimates on what you plan to spend on food. You may find that the dining plan is not worth the $, especially since you are going to have to pay out of pocket for a portion of your meals (as noted above Le Cellier and Narcoossee's are 2 credits each).

Besides that you have a really good plan! Have a great trip!

Run the math for yourself, but the Ding Plan is a losing proposition these days.
We spend far less by skipping it. If for any reason, DDP = NO REFUNDS. We've ALWAYS ended up with extra credits. We also often find we don't want all those desserts, or prefer water in the hot weather. If you don't get soft drinks, you lose with DDP.

Also the way it is priced- it is hard to explain- but DDP only 'comes out ahead' if you order the pricey meals- but then you pay extra in tips, meals take longer, and the pricey food isn't always the most delicious.

As others have said, you have some double credit meals. DDP for double credit meals is even less of a good value, especially if you order a less $$ entrée, drink water, or don't get ALL your desserts.

You don't say if you have a car, but almost no matter how you end up getting there, and no matter how early your meal- you'll be hard pressed to get from POFQ to GF and back before 11am. (since you have eat, then checkout listed) It might be worthwhile to pay for a taxi at least one way, and you probably want to pack up and dump your luggage before you leave the room. If you are flying + using MCO + using ME, most airlines you can drop your luggage off in the AM at your hotel. If you are all/any carry-on- you can stow it for free w/ luggage services. (just maybe tipping if they pick up from your room.) Getting from POFQ to GF could easily take over an hour each way via free transportation. There is no direct transportation between the two- you'll need to do a transfer, which equal TWO waits. Each of those waits COULD be up to 30min+travel time. One of your better options is bus to MK, then monorail (+ walk to monorail platform) to get to GF (4th stop from MK). It will take (best) 40min- to over an hour (if monorail stops running, which happens all too often these days).

If that's going to be a problem - Boatwrights is much closer (POR), and has a nice TS breakfast. I do like 1900PF, but getting there and back will take a good deal of time. the meal itself could also easily take 90+minutes. We've dined there many times, and have often been seated WELL past our ADR time!

Saturdays re the most busy day at MK because of how many folks like to start/end at MK. OP starts there, and end at AK on Saturday. Saturday is great for AK. Only thing to know about AK is the animal attractions close during a thunderstorms - which happen often in the hotter half the year. After the storm passes, AK clear out- so there's that to know as well. Post storm touring is great.

Totally agree with paragraph #2! Once upon a time DDP was great deal, no more.

I think OP's listed FP's sound good, though OP does not give times.

Some posters mention rope Drop. In warm months, early is good- but better is after dark in the parks. As two adults, after dark should be no problem. I find in the heat, our one #1 rule is to GET OUT of the HIGHEST afternoon HEAT. So take SOME sort of AC break from 2:30pm- at least 4pm. Maybe hit your hotel, another hotel, Indoor shows, indoor meals, or swim. this is especially important on any EMH nights or MK days. Besdies the parks are best after dark! Afternoon is also thunder-storm-o'clock- so a 2nd good reason to get indoors.

for those that mention having to leave their vacation with unused credits on the dining plan . We have only used the free dining plan once (we usually go when free dining is not offered and we stay club level). Well, the only time we had the dining plan, we were at Sunshine Seasons our last day, we were flying out that evening. The cashier took our card for our dining and he said, (oh, you have used all your table service and snack credits but you still have 8 quick service credits). I said "I know it's too bad but we are leaving tonight to go back home". He told us to eat our lunch at a nearby table and he would be back. He came back in a little while with a huge bag of 8 of the wonderful turkey sandwiches at the sandwich place wrapped up very well, 8 brownies and 8 bottles of water and said "Enjoy having a little bit more of Disney on your way home." Our flight home was delayed that night and everything was closed at Orlando Airport but the 4 of us had a wonderful late night meal, we then walked on our flight with the bag of the rest of the goodies and for the next couple of days had great reminders of that cast members thoughtfulness.

we had the extra quick service cause my son stays at the resort and always brings his own peanut butter and bread and will not eat Disney food, he is weird about food lol so we had all his credits (we had used his table service credits by going to some 2 credit places and also used some for table breakfasts.

to the op, your plan looks great to me.

Disney used to be great about this sort of thing. They also used to be great about allowing guests to use up credits by making a 'continental' meal made up of three snacks and a prepackaged drink. We made several meals made up of things like rice crispy treats and packaged cookies.

More recently Disney has cracked down on letting guests do this- or supposedly they have. The ability to do this long varied by CM. That was several years ago, I've since read on the DIS that this is no longer allowed.

Also, DDP is not all that user-friendly. The last time I used it (granted we were a group of nine, I think), it was a huge hassle when WDW dining staff made mistakes- which they did at multiple meals. I lost at least two hours of vacation attempting to get the mistakes fixed.

Your plans sound good to me :thumbsup2 The only thing that I would change is to fastpass Rockin Roller Coaster instead of Midway Mania . That's one of my favorite rides :goodvibes
