Can somebody help me answer a borrowing question for a Dec. use year?

Hoping someone can help answer this question - my mom's DVC contract has a December use year. If she wants to borrow points from 2012 to book a room for December 2011, can she do that? Or can she not borrow points before January 2012? Trying to figure this out between the 2 of us (my use year is March, and I was trying to remember when I can borrow to answer her question, but I just couldn't remember how it works??)

Yes, her UY actually starts on Dec 1st 2011 so as long as her checkin is that day or after, she can borrow from 2012.

Excellent, thank you for answering this for me, LIFERBABE! My mom wants to book rooms for everyone for Xmas, 2011 but she had used all of her points for 2011 for 2 big trips. So, the only way she would have been able to book 2011 Xmas, she thought was to do an add on. But, she was going to do an add on for Vero, which wouldn't help out w/ the 11 month mark reservation for WDW for Xmas 2011. So, this helps out quite a bit! Thanks for your help with this answer!

Just remember, everything goes by the UY that you will be traveling. If your travel is in Dec 2011, that falls in your mom's 2011 UY and therefore, points for that trip can be banked 2010 UY points, 2011 UY points, and borrowed 2012 UY points..

after this special trip she really will need an addon to recover
