My roomate, his girlfriend and I are arriving at the Dolphin Sept 30 about 3-4 p.m. I had planned to have a casual dinner at Beaches & Cream around 6-7. I cant seem to find out with clarity what sorts of things are there to do in the evening. I have been to the Boardwalk but usually in the morning and have not been inside any thing except the bakery & the grocery mainly because they have not been open. Now to clarify... :rolleyes1 we guys are in our late 30's and Patricia is in her late 40's. They are both pretty heavy drinkers and like to walk around with a drink at all times :rolleyes1 . I drink once or twice a year. As a group, :rolleyes1 the words loud and boistrous comes to mind. So, what's to do at night there? and when do things close? I would like to get them outside for Illuminations that first night also. Also do you know when the pool at the Dolphin closes? Would a late night swim be in order? Do they have dive in movies late? Is DTD an option without going to PI in case they aren't tired yet? It's going to be Epcot in the morning but a 10 am walk to the park is a desired plan of attack. Thanks for your un-ending knowledge and help. :goodvibes Greg

Theres plenty of things to do, we recently did a Boardwalk Drink-a-thon, a variation to the monorail drink-a-thon (theres a whole thread about it in the attractions/plannning board).

After your dinner, you can head over to Martha's Vineyard (also in BC) and have a drink or two, they have 2 wine flights there. It was ok, the ones at Epcot are a lot better. Then you can hit up Crew's Cup, a nice lounge inside the Yacht Club. There they have great specials on drinks, they have this great huge frosty mug of Sam Adams thats just delicious! Afterwards you can goto ESPN for a beer or two and then the Brewery where they brew their own beer, and its deeeeeeeeeelicious! Finish the night @ Jellyrolls, two fully stocked bars and great entertainment, we did it two times in a row on our last trip!

Incidentally, a bunch of Disboard members are having a Monorail Drink-a-Thon the same day you arrive, if youre interested check out the last few pages of the Monorail Drink a Thon thread...that should be a lot of fun!

hope this helps...:3dglasses
