Can/Should a 6 year old ride Expedition Everest?

I have never been on EE. Is it completely out of the question for a 6 yr old? Should we try Space Mountain first and if he loves that try EE?

I would say try a few "mountain" rides at MK first, my 7 year old loved it but I was a little worried the first time because I knew about the backwards portion of it... His head bounced around alittle more then I would have liked but nothing too bad.

Hope this helps...

I will take your advice and hit the MK on the first day and have him try out Space Mountain to see how he likes it before hitting the AK.

I would compare BTMRR to EE more so than Space M. Space M. is so jerky and the whole thing is in the dark and they have to sit alone. With BTMRR you sit next to each other as you do in EE and also there are only dark parts when you're inside the tunnels.

Our rather petite 5 yr old rode EE and LOVED it...I was scared she would POP out of the seat but she met the height requirement and had a blast...

If your son is excited about it, I think he will be fine...if he had to be "persuaded" onto the ride, I would say he's not ready. It is amazing how you hear the parents talking their kids into how fun it will be ... red flag!
