Can resales still book cruises

I know that there was a change to the resales earlier this year. If I purchase a resale, am I able to use my points for a cruise? Also is there a limitation in use for banked points? If I have 250 points and bank all to the next year, am I able to use all 500 for a cruise or are the banked 250 limited in any way?

I understand that is it not an ideal option and would rarely if ever do it, but would like to know just in case.

Mo. Resales after March something 2011 can no longer book cruises Adventures by Disney or Disney Collection.

If you purchased before March you are grandfathered in and can.

If you purchase resale now, the answer is no, you may not use those points to book a cruise.

Only indirectly, by renting out your points and using the proceeds to book the cruise for cash. In most instances, that will be a better deal than direct booking, though it will also be a little bit of work.

Thanks for the responses. I know that renting out the points and paying cash would likely be the best option. I was more curious for worst case scenario.

Use DVC points for DVC resorts. Any other use is not cost effective.
