Can people tour the disney resort hotels...

Can people tour the disney resort hotels...
without staying at the hotels?
I know on the list pf pressed pennies, some of them are in the different resort hotels, can anyone look around in there, or do you have to be staying there?

Absolutely you can tour the other hotels!!! I made a whole day out of it on my last trip, and I had a great time! I took Disney treansportation the whole time so there was no issue with parking in the hotel lots.

thanks so much for the reply. i have seen alot of the hotels on the travel channel and they are soo nice. plus i want to try to get some of the pressed pennies, that are in the hotels(like the villians)
we will be arriving on a sat afternoon, and planned to just got to DTD the next day, so i thought it might be neat to see some of the hotels.

Every visit to WDW includes a day of resort hopping for us.....It's fun!!!!

If you go to the TTC, you can hop on the monorail and see 3 resorts; Poly, GF and Cont. They are all lovely hotels and so fun to explore. We always tour the different hotels while at WDW. It gives me something to dream about or plan for our next trip.

Are you able to drive into the resorts?

We thought about visiting a couple and may be eating at one or two of the resorts resturants but weren't sure if we were allowed to park. Would you recommend using the monorail etc instead?

We drove when we did our resort hopping. Just tell security at the gate that you want to look at the resort and they will let you visit.

We always take one evening and go shopping in the resort stores. Most of the time we go on the monorail and visit those resorts.
