Can parents help me? Diaper questions?

I am not a mother. I am not a "Kid" person but I have a lot of family and friends who are.

That being said, I love to help them out and make cute gifts for the kids.

I make diaper cakes like this one:

As you can see, the diapers have a blueish stripe/stripes on the edges and it makes it hard to decorate in anything but purple. I used Walmart Brand diapers called Parents Choice as a few of my friends swear that these are very good.

I am looking at making more of these as I have a few showers coming up. Are there any diapers out there that have no designs on the outside? All white?

Are there any types of diapers that have only a colored waitband and no colour around the legs?

If you have any pics of your diapers, I would be very greatful. I know it's a bit weird but I can't open the diaper bags at the store to look. Any help would be appreciated.

When my kids were in diapers I used pampers and they had no colour on them, not sure about now as my kids are out of them. Love your cake tho looks very pretty and you still could add other colours like pink and lite greens ect to it..

My DS is long out of diapers but had to post because your cake is adorable. My nephews are still in diapers and I think they are white and are huggies but I'm not positive. (Can you tell this Auntie doesn't change a lot of diapers!)

No more kids in diapers here BUT I do have a home daycare and look after little people that use em.

Pampers have the stripe, huggies are plain white and the ones I have here right now have a picture of Simba on them right now - I also have the Presidents choice diapers here and they have 2 diff designs - the older design has green teddy bears all over it and the newer design is white with a purple waist band.

I still have 2 in diapers.

Teddy's Choice from Zehrs have bears around the waistband, but they also have a faint green bear print on the diaper (it's a bear standing on an arc, if that makes sense, you can see it in the pic)

Huggies have no print except for the waistband.

Life Brand from Shoppers do not have any print on the diaper either, just around the waist.

Teddy's Choice are the cheapest, a large box is about $30, Life Brand are pretty cheap too, with Huggies being the most expensive. I use Teddy's Choice regularly and found them to be about the same as Walmart's brand. I have used Life Brand in the past, those weren't too bad.

I got a diaper cake as a gift a month ago and loved it.
The lady used Costco diapers to make it.

Pampers here first and foremost they have been the best for our kids and we get to start the cycle all over again in June.

Beautiful diaper cake! I am going to try one of those, I am throwing my sister a baby shower in May! I've seen others, but I really like yours!

I actually like the purple effect, it makes it very unique!

My baby is in Pampers swaddlers, all white except for a yellow band in the front. I am knew to the diaper thing but I believe that most diapers have a photo of the diaper on the package no???
