Can MYW Tickets be Upgraded to APs?

We purchased 10 day MYW Tickets for our upcoming trip in July. If we decided to do so, could we pay to upgrade these tickets to annual passes? If so, what would the charge be and at what point in the trip could we do so? I am concerned we would lose our Fastpasses that are attached to the tickets and thought maybe we could make the upgrade on the final day of our trip. Thank you for the info!

You'll need to upgrade after using the tickets at least once, but before you use up all 10 days. IIRC, when upgraded our 5-day passes to APs during our trip in December it had no effect on our FP reservations.

1. Yes.

2. After you USE the tickets at least one time BEFORE upgrading, you will pay the difference price between
a NEW unused ticket of the same type that you HAVE and the current gate price of an AP.

3. I'd do the upgrade during the first day I was there (after entering a park.)

4. Nope.

5. You CAN, but you'd lose the benefits (discounts, AP's are automatically Hoppers, etc.) during the
bulk of your trip.

Regardless, be sure to do the upgrade no later than ON the same day that
you use the last asset on the ticket.
