Can moving sidewalks be stopped?

More specifically at the DLR? If so, which attractions?

My day's balance is the Pitts, and having had two broken necks we can't risk another fall. He'll have an ECV but would like to transfer for rides.

Most will be able to be slowed down significantly if not completely stopped. Some of the newer ones actually can accept a wheelchair so he would just transfer to that first.

Peter Pan and the people mover are the 2 rides that can not be slowed or stopped.

Peter Pan and the people mover are the 2 rides that can not be slowed or stopped.

Peter Pan at Disneyland has a different system and I think no moving walkway.
