Can members still rent a few points from DVC?

I am just 2 points short from being able to add one more day to next year’s vacation. Does member services still rent up to 15 additional points? Thanks in advance!

You can purchase up to 24 One Time Use Vacation (per membership, per use year) points from DVC once you are 7 months out.

You do still have to call to do this.
I had to do this a few weeks ago and it went smoothly.

You can also do a mock booking now to buy the OTU points and then they will be available for you to use online for your real booking later. Caveat though to remember is that OTU points do not have home resort priority and can only be used within the 7 month booking window.

Going to add to this that when doing this in advance, you need to also make sense you are purchasing them in the correct UY of the trip you ultimately want. For example, someone who has an June UY and wants them for a September 2022 trip, needs to make sure they pick a date after June 1st, as the "mock" booking so that the OTU points are in the June 2022 UY.
