Can Member Service Modify Waitlist to Replace Reservation?

After coming back from our November trip, my husband said he'd like to do a split stay, starting off with VGF next trip. Way past the 7 month mark for us but I'm trying to piece it together. I'm kicking myself now because I should have first booked CCV (our home resort) for these extra dates but I'm new and learning. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ So, I made the waitlist for the dates we'd like to add. At the time of making the waitlist, I did not have a reservation to replace should the waitlist come through. Now I do but I don't want to cancel my WL and lose my place in the queue. Does anyone know if Member Services can modify my waitlist to replace my booked reservation?

Contact MS and have them add the note to replace! Very easy!

I just called MS last week to do this. She said yes they will notate it to replace an existing reservation.
