Can magic kingdom tickets be used to enter other parks?

I'm buying tickets soon for a November trip. It's a surprise trip so I don't know yet whether our adult children and their kids will agree with my plan to spend two partial days in mk (Kids are 4 and 1). So the question us ... If I buy two days' mk tix so that I can get fast passes, can we later change our minds and use one to go to a different park on a different day (either by over-paying the mk price or exchanging?

Also isn't it better to purchase two one day tix at slightly higher cost in case a kid gets sick and tickets become unusable? That assumes we got to the park first day.

In the case of only two days worth of tickets, that is can be a good "insurance policy."

I suggest buying one MK ticket and one "non-MK" ticket.
That way, if you want to go to MK the 2nd day, you can upgrade to MK.
