We have a ressie for Oga's at 8:40. Will we make it if we watch Fantasmic? It seems like it would be tight to make. TIA

When we went into Oga's last week, they told us we could stay 45 minutes. But you don't HAVE to stay. It's just a bar... so you can get your drink and be done in less time and then head to Fastasmic. There's no show or anything that you'd miss (unless there's something at night I don't know about).

Oga's was fun but it wasn't all that.

Is Fantasmic at 9:30 pm? If so, it's possible. I would just try to high-tail it out of Oga's by 9:00 pm and be ok with seats more on the side of the amphitheater. (I would also check in as early as you can and hope you get in early). We went to a 9:30 pm show about a week ago and it was not full.

Edit: I'm sorry, I misunderstood your post - I thought you wanted to see Fantasmic after Oga's. If you are trying to see the 8 pm show and then get to Oga's, it's going to be super tight. You will definitely be late. It's just super crowded getting out of Fantasmic and Oga's is quite far from the theater.

Yes - we've made it to RotR at 8:40 after Fantasmic but does require planning! I suggest sitting in a further back row on the aisle if you can in a section near where the exits are. Mention to a cast member about the reservation and they can likely give you a good tip where to sit. I'd still suggest leaving about 15 seconds early to beat the rush. The difference between the front of the pack and back can be at least 10 minutes . . . You'll may be a few minutes late for the reservation but that shouldn't be an issue.

[Note: Where we usually leave when we're tight on time is right after Mickey re-appears on the main stage and says "Some imagination, huh?". If we're on the aisle we can easily be at the front of the pack before we get caught in the crowd. (And I do suggest an aisle so you don't disturb anyone else right at the end.) You'll want to walk quickly but don't need to kill yourselves. . .]

I wouldn't. Why in the world would you want to gulp down a $16 cocktail to hoof it over to Fantasmic overheated and out of breath? Frankly, I would pick one or the other. Sit and enjoy Oga's or sit and enjoy Fantasmic. IMO, 50 minutes is not enough time to enjoy both.

*$17-$20 cocktail

I agree, I think it’s better to relax and enjoy one experience than rush through two!

1. I think there is some confusion in the wording of your question. What time is Fantasmic? Do you plan to see it before or after Oga's?

It looks like the Fantasmic show time is variable. Tonight it is offered at both 8pm and 9:30, but some of next month shows only 8pm.

2. Easter week, a far busier week than this week (Jan 31) they currently only list an 8pm show. If you trip isn't for a few weeks, especially the weeks near Easter, odds are very high that WDW will add a second show on your night. If so that may well be the best solution/answer to your question.

Otherwise, it would help to know what time you are planning to see Fantasmic!

The wording of the OP question is to watch 8pm Fantasmic and then make it to Oga's at 8:40. That is doable - but correct - while you COULD do it in the reverse order you would be rushing Oga's. But not every day has a late show anyway so that order isn't usually an option outside of weekends and busier periods.

Olga's is for die hard Star Wars fans or if you want to sit at a bar and drink. It was a todo list item but in my opinion, nothing special. Seeing Fantasmic is going to depend on the day. It's a good walk from Galaxy's Edge to the theater and if the seating fills up then you might get turned away. On a slow day, you might be able to get a seat and check it out.

You can be 5-10 minutes late for Oga's I think without penalty. Might even be 15 minutes.

Oga's is pretty cool if you've never been but not mind blowing as others have said. The cocktails aren't that tasty (pre-mixed). I'd rather have a cocktail at pretty much any of the DCA or GCH places. But it's cool scenery to check out, and you can get beer instead which they can't mess up obviously!

What time is Fantasmic and when is it over? If it starts at 8 and ends about 8:25, you could make it, but you will be a salmon swimming upstream to get out of the theater to get there.

Might depend on if it's near park closing.... we had a reservation for about 15 mins after the park officially closed, and were waiting outside when someone came up about 10 mins late. They told them there would be no charge, but they couldn't seat them at that point. When we went in a few minutes later (about 10 mins after our reservation), there were a number of empty seats. When we left if was an hour after park closing (were not the last), and CMs escorted us all the way to the shops at the entrance.

I'd stop in before and see if they could adjust the time..
