We are off to the world again next year but this time we are going with friends. As its been 4 years since I last went I notice that prices are quite shocking since I last booked.

My question is do you think I can get flights (scheduled & direct), accommodation (villa or hotel) and car hire for £4000 or less for a family of 2 adults and 1 child (15 or 12).

We are aiming to go for 18 nights from around 19th Aug 2013.

I have a budget of £7000 per family but that includes the above, food, park tickets and spending money

The way I see it (per family 2 adults and 1 child - but have to pay adult price)

Tickets - £1300
Food - £1000
Flights - £2500 (max)
Car hire - £300
Hotel - £800
Spending - £1000

Can I do it? If so any recommendations who with (happy to DIY)

Hi, I usually book our flights separately with either monarch or virgin, whoever comes out cheaper, I book our hotel through complete orlando, might be worth looking at staying at either saratogaa springs or old key west with the free dining plan, you just need to book your Disney tix at the same time!

We paid 3063 for two adults and two under threes. We have no park tickets for them but they have flights and are only 30 cheaper than our adult ones

We have a two bed Villa at okw so that cost has been shared with others and we have free dining and are going nov

Booking with Disney direct you can a studio at OKW or SSR with free dining & 21 day tickets for £3531 per family.

That leaves you with £3500 for flights, car hire, any non-Disney tickets and spending money including tips on your TS meals which is probably do-able:

Tips £250
Car Hire £350
Flights - £2100 (£700 each)
Spending - £800

I'm just back yesterday from 3 weeks away.
Booked through Holiday Genie
3 weeks flying Virgin Glasgow - Orlando International, staying on I-Drive at the Rosen Inn at Pointe Orlando.
Cost for flights and accomodation £906 each
We don't drive so can't help with that
Got my tickets before we went from american attractions

Hope this helps, I think it really depends where you want to stay!
