The Plan:
An 8am Tusker House rez then AK. Head back to hotel between 1 and 2.
Chill at hotel from 2-4, head to Hollywood Studios by 4. HS CLOSES at 7 that night, is it worth it or do I alter the plan and do Epcot or MK that night instead?
Rides that are a MUST at HS:
Tower of Terror
Jaws
Aerosmith coaster
Back lot ride

When was the last time you did the backlot tour? It stinks now. There is nothing except Catastrophe Canyon. They got rid of EVERYTHING!

Do Toy Story Midway Mania instead.

And Jaws is at Universal...so no it cannot be done.

it depends on when you are going...because the length of lines will be different. i have been there when you can walk right onto ToT, and other times when the line was 3 hours long, so it really depends on when you are going

And this my friends is what 4 kids will do to you. Why I thought Jaws was HS I cannot say!!! I haven't been to that park in so long and actually enjoyed any rides that its all a blur. Is the King Kong ride gone? HAHAHA - that was the last time I went on rides at that park

Some fossil games
Depending on the time, grab lunch/snack and head back to Pop. Chill, maybe swim
Get to Hollywood Studios BY 4:30 and hit at least:
Rock & Roll Coaster
TOwer Of Terror
Back Lot Tour
Mermaid show
Toy Story
If time Stunt show - PARK CLOSES at 7pm that night!!! Does anyone know if the restaurants stay open or do they close at 7 too?

The last stunt show usually starts at 4:20pm... and it's at the back of the park. It will be 5pm by the time you get out of there. Wait, are you talking about Lights, Motor, Action? or Indiana Jones? LMA is the info I posted above, last Indy is usually 5:30pm and is a 30 min show.

I don't know when you're going (busy or slow season), but you will have a wait for both ToT and RnR (although you can try the RnR single riders line). TSM will be the biggest wait... probably at least an hour, more if you're going during a busy time. I would drop Backlot and Mermaid since you are short on time. You will have a hard enough time fitting the 3 big rides into 2 hours late in the day.

I'm not sure, but I believe you can make ADRs for the TS restaurants up to closing time. Check the WDW website to see what they have available. I would expect CS restaurants to close when the park does though.

I didn't see the rock and roll coaster - are the lines still forever long for that?? HS is probably the one park less catered to my kids given they are young. I'm not even sure they will care about the Toy Story ride so if they don't beg, we will skip it. Or I will have dh get in line for that with the younger ones and I will take the older 2 to the coaster and Tower assuming the 2nd is tall enough.
This means we can go MK the next day and Epcot. I really did not want to do MK at night - I think the kids will enjoy it more in the daylight hours.
