Can I walk to these places from the Radisson?

We fly in at 2:55 so will have a few hours late afternoon to spend at Cape Canaveral. Can we walk to 1) Grills for dinner 2) manatee viewing area or 3) Ron Jon's?? If not, how much is a cab?

No...they are all too far to walk. Your best bet would be to rent a car for the day at Avis in MCO airport and return it to Avis at the Radisson. I recently rented an mini-van for $57 including tax for the day. If you can get away with a smaller car it would even be less. Cab fare would be too much to go to these places, I would think. How are you getting to the Radisson from the airport now?

We always rent a car at MCO and turn it into Avis at the Radisson the morning of the cruise. We have it to go out for breakfast and to drop the luggage and other family members off at the cruise terminal. then one of us will drive it back to Avis and turn it in and then hop the Avis shuttle back to the cruise terminal while the rest of the group is already at the terminal waiting in line to board!!!

We rented intermediate car for this Friday for $34! This way we have cheap transportation to the Radisson, can explore and go out for dinner that night, can do breakfast and drop off at the terminal! Works great!

You should check out Dave's site for space coast maps. He has a pretty impressive map of the area with links to many of the near by businesses. It was really helpful when we went, and also many of the area places to eat, Dave provided scanned in menus.
