Can I walk to Epcot from Old Key West?

We're staying at Old Key west resorts for the marathon, just wondering if anyone can tell me if it's walking distance to the start and finish at Epcot...looks like it on the map, but unsure of the roads that need crossing.

Sorry, there aren't any paths that would allow you to walk from OKW to Epcot.

Don't even think about it. After leaving OKW you would have to walk along Disney Vacation Club Way and cross Bonnet Creek Parkway (which does have a traffic light). Then you would have to go onto Epcot Center Drive, which has a 50mph speed limit and no sidewalks. From the time you get onto ECD until the toll plaza is about 9,600 feet (almots two miles) and then about another 4,000 feet to the entrance of the Park.

So your total distance would be over three miles with no sidewalks! And then you want to do the marathon????!!! And what time do you have to be at the start?

Nope. Sorry. But the bus ride is not long at all!

you can walk from Boardwalk, swan, dolphin , beach club, yacht club to EPCOT

If it is like last year, then the start is near epoch. You really can't even walk to the start from the epvot resorts.
