Can I waitlist a room type?

I just book Animal Kingdom Kidani for May 2024. A week ago they had both the 2 bedroom standard and lock-off rooms. Tonight I went to book and all the standard rooms were book, and I had to book a lock-off. Can I waitlist for a standard room? We really want the 2 queen beds in one room and not the sleeper sofa.

Yes, you can wait list a 2 br. to hopefully replace the lock off you currently have booked. W/ Kidani the dedicated 2 br.s (w/ 2 beds in the second bedroom) are described as either a 2 br. standard or a 2 br. savanna, the standard/savanna refering to the different views. The lock offs say “lock off.”
