Can I Use The Rainforest Cafe Free Appetizer Coupon At T-Rex?

If it says its for Rain Forest Cafe, I doubt you can use it a T-Rex...though I do like that restaurant better!

If it is a Landry's coupon - you will be able to use it at TRex - if it is a Rainforest Cafe coupon - you will probably only be able to use it there. But it wouldn't hurt to call and ask.
For the PP who asked about where to get the coupon - if you google Landry's coupons you should be able to find any current coupons. We have found .99 kids meal coupons as well as % off purchases in the gift shop.

Yes, a Landry's coupon. The original poster asked if she could use a coupon specifically labeled "Rainforest Cafe" at T-Rex. I doubt it is interchangeable like that.

Thanks everyone for the replies!! I haven't actually seen the coupon it was one my Mom found on Ebay. She hasn't purchased it because I told her to let me check here on the DIS first.
I'm sure it's for the Rainforest specifically so I think I'll pass. Does anyone know if there is a T-Rex coupon in the Orlando Entertainment book? If so, what is it for?

That's such a strange question. That'd be like asking if you could use a Banana Republic coupon at Gap or Old Navy. I seriously doubt it, but I suppose you can try.

Yes, it's $5 off a purchase of $20 or 15% off a retail purchase of $25 or more.

You may also go to Rainforest Cafe's website and download a couple of kid's projects (book reading log and such) from there that may be used for $.99 cent kid's meals at T-Rex. All Landry's coupons are honored at T-Rex, though Build-A-Bear coupons are not honored at Build-A-Dino.

Carla - I've now been educated. Didn't mean to imply that I didn't "like" your question; it just seemed like a really strange question since I didn't completely understand what type of coupon you were referring to.

I don't think we will purchase the coupons because the seller can't tell me if they are Landry's so I'll bet they are specific to the Rainforest.

We joined the Rainforest Cafe Safari Club -- signed up at T-Rex in Orlando. The Safari Club discount card is good at both restaurants, because they are sister (brother?) restaurants. If you've been to them you know that basically the only difference is that one uses jungle animatronics and a rainstorm, and the other uses dinosaur animatronics and has a meteor shower every 20 mins or so. We thought the food was pretty much the same quality.

The question is whether ALL coupons are interchangeable. The Landry website doesn't give much info, but their corporate ofc phone # is (800) 5-LANDRY (552-6379) Please let us know what you find out.

If you join the Landry's Select Club at http://www.landrysselect.com/SelectClubFeatures.aspx it costs $25 to join. They automatically give you a $25 credit on the card to use at any of their restaurants so that pretty much makes it free. They also give you $25 credit on your birthday. I joined last summer and said my birthday was in September (it's not) because that's when I was going to Vegas and knew I was eating at the Chart House for sure. You also earn points at every Landry's restaurant. I'm hoping to get enough points during my Disney trip in May so I can get $25 for Vegas and of course that will be my pretend birthday again so I will get $25 more! I actually tried to explain this to someone who was going to Vegas last year with me and they thought it was way too complicated and passed on the deal. So read the details at the website and make sure you fully understand it.
