Can I use pool at another resort?

Hi

We are considering buying resale points at the boardwalk villas, because they are cheaper and on the rare year might need a 3 bedroom. But we really prefer to take our small kids to the beach club pool because it looks cool - sand, lazy river....

So is it possible to stay at boardwalk and play at beach club? or just invest in beach club resale points.

We are GCV members so this will be our first trip to FL with DVC.

Stormalong Bay, at the BCV, is off limits to pool hopping. So is BLT and AKV. You can to the other resorts, but call ahead as there are blackout periods.

If you want to be able to use the pool at BCV, you must be staying there on your points.

You may not pool hop to Beach Club, Animal Kingdom Lodge (Jambo and Kidani) or Bay Lake Tower, even if you own there but are staying at another DVC Resort. Currently, you may pool hop to all other Disney operated pools, with seasonal restrictions. Pool hopping may be suspended or eliminated at any time.

Is the poly pool off limits also? Was thinking of doing dinner there one night and was wondering if we could swim there before.We will be renting points from a member.

The pool at Polynesian allows pool hopping, as long as it is not at capacity.
