Yes they are still valid but have to be converted if they are super old (pre hard tickets).
Did you use any part of the kids tickets? If so then your 11 and 14 year old can still use their tickets and you can get them upgraded to adult tickets.
Not sure if this is something you can do before hand but possibly give existing tickets a call and see so that you can get FP+
What year did you purchase the tickets? I had some non expiration from 2005 and I was able to call and they linked them to my mde so I could make fast passes before arrival. When we got there we went to guest services to exchange them for the hard ticket for our admittance the next day.
Can't help you on the other question. I was able to upgrade the kids to adult tickets when the magic your way tickets were still in style, no clue what is happening now?
I had 2 non expiring tickets from back in 1991.....I used them in 2012. Yes, that's right....21 years later! The only problem I had was that I was sad to see them go since I had had them for so long . They said they had to take them....that they couldn't just void them and give them back to me .
Guest services will convert them and add them to your MDE account, no problem. Kids never grow up....they can still use those kids tickets as 'adults' now, no problem.
