Can I use a PIN for two rooms?

I know this is a stupid newb question :headache: but I honestly can't find the answer anywhere on the FAQ's/stickies. I've always thought free dining was the way to go but after running the numbers I see we can get a pretty sweet upgrade for only a little more $$ with a decent PIN. We're planning our trip for 9/11 through 9/17 -- our family of 5 and one set of grandparents -- a total of 4 adults and 3 kids. We would be looking at 2 rooms, 6-day hopper passes and DDP for all. The grands are fine with everything being in my name -- they don't need or want a separate ressie for anything. If (I hope I hope I hope) I get a PIN, can I book 2 rooms with it? I wasn't sure if it was only valid for one room or not.

Thanks for helping!

With a PIN you can book up to 3 rooms. All you have to do is travel together and it sounds like you will be.

Thank you soooo much for your quick reply! Now I just have to petition the Powers that Be (the Tiki Gods, perhaps?) for a PIN and we'll be all set. :~P

Thanks again!

You're welcome!! Did you try to save a couple vacations for the dates you are looking for? I did this (never did before but have received PINs in the past) last weekend because we are going to WDW on a PIN in Feb but were debating as whether or not to get APs. We wanted to go again the first week of Dec and I had heard of those receiving the PIN for most of the year. Well on Mon and Tues I received the PIN. I booked CBR for that week after thanksgiving that I was looking at and was referred to in my PIN.(the pin is obscure and at the bottom right of the email that talks about one of the saved vacations. It's worth a try. I really didn't think I'd get one just wanted to see! There's a thread on this subject as well. Good Luck.

I also had been reading about people getting the PINs after pricing a vacation on the Disney website. So, I priced a room on the site over the weekend. I came home from school today, checked my email, and there was my email from Disney Destinations with the 20, 30, 40% pin down on the right hand side. I called, and it is a little cheaper than the AAA rate I got last week. So, I would highly suggest pricing something on the Disney site--I think it will increase your chances at getting a PIN.

Good luck!! Oh, BTW, I am pricing 2 rooms and there's no problem with using the pin with both.

Drats! I've done every combination that you can think of on the Disney site lately, but still nothing!!! :confused3 Oh well, I think it just comes down to luck.

I did a couple times in the last few weeks and nothing...so I just signed my hubby up today for his own account and started planning and saving in his name, too. :) I'm hoping! It would mean the difference between mod and deluxe for us.

That's good. Hopefully you will get one. Most likely there will be discounts in the fall, but before I purchased an AP I wanted to be sure! Maybe the AP discount will end up better than what I have now. We are booking a Mod for the first week in Dec (week after thanksgiving) It's 10 years since I've seen the Christmas decorations and since we're going in Feb I thought that would be a good time! Good luck and make sure if you get any emails you check them out entirely. The code was on the bottom right and all it looked like was an ad for the resort I was saving vacations for!
