One of the prizes on Swagbucks is a Disney.com e-Gift Card worth $25. It describes it as with this on-line e-Gift card you will receive $25 toward any purchase at disneyshopping.com, Disney's official on-line merchandise store!

So my question is... can I use this to buy a gift card or Disney dollars or some how turn it into a way to pay for my Disney trip? (besides buying merchandise)

Hmmm. I guess I will just have to get one and try it. I'll let you know. :thumbsup2

Yes please do! Usually I cash out for Amazon codes but I'd rather save up for a few Disney ones if we can get actual GC's in the end by using them. But I still have about 100 to go before I get enough for the Disney one.

I sent Disney Store a question about this and I just got a response, it say's

In reference to your inquiry, unfortunately you cannot purchase a
plastic gift card with an online gift card.

So, it seems that you wouldn't be able to do this. I was hoping you could because I would love to be able to get Disney gift cards thru Swagbucks, but I guess it's not an option.

Oh that stinks! I guess there's no other Disney applicable benefit to Swagbucks then, huh? I see they aren't even offering the prepaid Mastercard anymore.

I don't do Swagbucks but I think I remember someone saying they do Amazon GCs? Why not use them for a guidebook, individual cereals or granola bars from their grocery section, DVDs for the plane/car ride, sunscreen, or Bagalini bag? There's always a way to use whatever rewards program offers if you dig deep enough.

Well, yes that would benefit you if you did those things. We don't really do those things...we bring what we already have for snacks but don't buy extra (we do the DDP too, as far as snacks go), but I DO plan on using the Amazon cards for Christmas gifts now instead of going for the Disney card instead.

I do always redeem mine for Amazon cards, Disney cards would have been the first time I've gotten anything else. At least being able to redeem 45 pts instead of 270? is more motivating! ;) I was just kinda hoping to have something that could go to ONLY Disney, as it would make my saving efforts feel more "direct", I guess. LOL
