Can I use a code later?

I just recieved my first letter from Disney with a promo code!!!!! I literally screamed I was so happy. Unfortunately, it is for a time that we are not going to be able to go. We are planning a trip for June of '09, the code was for this Sept. When I make my ressie for our trip in June, can I still use the code I was sent? Can I ask the person I am speaking with if I can use it, or is that in bad taste?

I wouldn't worry about bad taste, I would ask!!!

But the code I got was only good for specific dates. Read first, then give it a shot!!!

Like Aliceacc said, first check & see if there is an expiration date if so you will not be able to use it. If it doesn't call & ask all they can do is say no But at least you can say you call & not wonder if. Good luck most codes have an expiration date on them with certain time frames you can use them.

I guarantee the code will not be good for next year. There are certain travel dates and even certain dates you need to book it by, It more than likely wont go past december.

Can't hurt to ask, but most likely won't work. They typically send out the codes for times/resorts that they feel can use a little extra business. However June 09 is a little out of the reach of most of the codes. I really doubt they would know that far in advance if they are going to need to sell more rooms at a given resort. The whole point of the code is to get people to come down during times when they may not otherwise visit.
