Can I upgrade my MYW tickets to Seasonal?

I wonder if the MYW tickets can be traded in or upgraded to a seasonal pass? does anyone know?

Yes. I did this on our last trip. We bought 1 day base tickets with the intent of upgrading to PAP. I did this right at the guest services window and had no problems. They will also deduct the price of the tickets off your pass.

I read the upgrade info at allears.net and I'm wondering if I buy my MYW tix from another source, such as Ticketmania, and then decide to upgrade to APs, does does Disney use their cost for determining how much I pay for the upgrade or do I have to show what I paid for the tix? We are considering doing an upgrade, but not until we are at the parks. And we will probably buy 7-day hopper passes through Ticketmania. I'm curious to know if I need to be sure and bring my receipts for my tix. (Probably should do it anyway, though).

Has anyone done this before?

From what I understood on that article disney will credit you what TICKETMANIA paid for the tickets..they do not include any price increase that ticketmania may have included in the ticket price for profit.

The question I have is, that site says you cant use the tickets to upgrade once you have used all the days on them, but if i bought my tickets together with a dining plan and i upgrade at the begining of my trip does that cancel out my dining plan feature?

No, it will not cancel out your dining plan. The DP is tied to your room nights not your ticket. I also had the dining plan when I upgraded to a PAP. I had no problems at all. (Go hungry. The DP give you A LOT of food!! )
