Can I trust that Stormalong Bay pool will be open in Dec/Jan?

Is it normal that it would be under construction then? I'd hate to book and then find out it will be closed for refurb.

Dec should be ok. And probably very early Jan. I think it usually has maintenance in either mid to late Jan or Feb.

Maintenance at SAB is most often done in January. They only close parts of the pool at a time, never the whole thing at once. So, for example, the pirate slide might be closed for refurbishment but the lazy river would still be open.
