Can I transfer 2006 banked points?

just closed on 210 vwl points, with 210 points banked from 2006 (good til august 31, 2008). can i transfer these to another dvc member? i will still have 210 2007 points to use myself and i just recently rented a week from another dvc member for use this december. i realize i can book rentals with these points but would prefer to transfer.

the closing is final but i was told today to give member services 10 days to get me and my banked points into the system.

Nope, you can't transfer banked points.

You can transfer the current (2007) points to another member, but banked points cannot be transferred. The banked points MUST be used by August 31, 2008 so why not use those and transfer your current points if you know you have more points than you'll use now and in the future.

If you can't use the 210 banked points your best option is probably to try to rent them to someone else.
