Title pretty much says it all. I'm wondering if Disney allows you to take any bottled water or snacks with you into the parks. I'm going to place an order and need to know what I should get. Thanks!!!

We've always taken stuff in (not a lot, just a few things in our backpack)... although I don't know if there is an official policy. I swear my sister said they have taken a small cooler in the stroller.

We take a backpack that is insulated and it is awesome!
It keeps our sandwiches and drinks cold, and holds enough snacks for the day. We usually take the individual packs of trail mix, crackers, 100 calorie packs, gum. It even has pockets on the outside for room keys, money, cell phones. We have never left the room without it. :woohoo:

You can take anything that is not in a can or glass bottle. The official policy is no, but they look the other way for things such as snacks, sandwiches, etc.

I didn't know there was a policy other than for glass containers. We don't bring stuff in, but I know a lot of people do. SoG even offers to pack lunches for people to bring into the parks.

We usually bring in 2-3 bottles of water and a few snacks to get us through the first part of each day. We have never had a problem. :)

I take a small purse-type cooler. In it: 2-20 oz frozen bottles of water, some granola bars and gum. By the end of the day, I have replaced the water bottles with souveneirs.

Once the drinks are out, I have found the insulated cooler is also a great place to put my camera on the wet rides.

I certainly do not have a problem purchasing drinks and snacks in the park and often have to get more water. But, I typically don't think about being hungry or thirsty until I am standing in line for a ride.

Actually, the official policy is that you can bring in snacks and non-alcoholic beverages. And you can bring in a cooler 24" x 15" x 18" or smaller.

This is from the "Guide to the Magic" we recieved at resort check-in.

So no need to worry that you are breaking any rules.

Enjoy!

We normally take a couple of frozen bottles of water in with us!, and a couple of bags of fruity sweets to keep us refreshed:thumbsup2

Yes, you can take snacks in.

Did you know that you can get a cup of ice water free? Just ask. They are available everywhere there is a soda fountain. If you don't like the taste of the water, add Crystal Lite or Kool-Aid or something. (we like the water).
