Some of my friends had the bright idea of giving me a lingerie shower a week ago. Well, I don't wear this kind of crap and they had the even brighter idea of removing the tags b/c they DIDN'T want me to return it  I know they mean well and were trying to be cute, but as much as they may think that my DF and I need help in that department.......we dont!

They are sets of sexy tops with matching thong panties, which I HATE. Would anyone buy this stuff without the tags being on???? :confused3

Wooahhh there, young lady. Don't be making rash descisions! Don't sell it under any circumstances... Stick it aside for the benefit of that smiling young guy in your signature photo. Believe me, he'll appreciate it.

At a yard sale you have the ability to speak to your customers and tell them the story... if they want it they'll buy it.

I would display them in plastic with a sign saying (Brand New, Never Worn) or something like that.

Oh, and yeah, don't invite the person who gave them to you to the yard sale!!! :rolleyes2:

There are people out there who will buy anything I agree with the above poster who said put a sign on it saying they are new----But I agree even more with the poster above her who said keep it!!!

Looking at your picture you appear to be small enough to pull off the whole lingerie thing---If I were your size I'd wear them all day just because I could--Now for me and my size a xxl just doesn't cut it, you don't get the same "I'm so sexy" vibe by putting on the outfit----Keep the lingerie and bust it out at unexpected times to brighten up your significant others day!!!

PLUS we wear the lingerie for them anyways so whats the big deal about being uncomfortable for the few minutes it will be on!!!!

Take them to a consignment store. If you can find a good one in your area, even if they charge a fee (our start up fee was $5) you'll make a nice profit. Ours definitely takes un-used lingerie (haven't sold it or bought it, but I've seen it there) and we've made a LOT of money on some of our outgrown clothes there.

Hmm...at your young age will one of these *friends* be getting married soon? Since they "jokingly" cut the tags off, you could "jokingly" pass the gift on!! LOL

sell them on Ebay! get a plain ebay name (not your own and make your location USA so your friends won't know its you) and make some $$$$.

Great suggestions! Plastic bags sound good and so does ebay. We're having a yard sale in 2 weeks at our new house b/c we can't fit all of our junk in it. We were going to sell the more expensive stuff like electronics on ebay and the rest such as clothes, furniture, and nick nacks in the yard sale. If these don't sell in the yard then off to ebay they'll go.

I promise I wouldn't do it if he liked them, but I think skin is enough for him ;)

Keep in mind that all men are basically just large kids. You know how on Christmas morning a young boy can spend as much time playing with the wrapper as he does the toy inside the packaging? It's the act of opening the package which heightens the anticipation of just how much fun that toy is going to be. Don't ruin Christmas for us...

Not to fret SoE! When they sell at the yard sale or on ebay, they will be making someone happy! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc Christmas will be had by the next guy! :Pinkbounc

Or gal. :hippie:

I'm serious...not all men like the lingerie look!!!

I'm going to go out on a limb here and agree with this. Most of the time, lingerie is worn for the man, not because it is truly comfortable for us, because lord knows, it isn't! ;)

:rotfl2: I don't care if a guy or gal gets to make use of the "pretty" packaging. All I know is that I don't want that kind of gift wrap on me!

Re Gift!!!!!!!!!!

Know anyone who is getting married? Aniversary????? :cool1:

A few years ago I went to a yard sale that had some racy artwork on black velvet for sale. They actually had quite a bit of various artwork but the racy stuff was deep in a stack so kids wouldn't see (at least not at first).

I think the lingerie is tame in comparison, but I would let people know it was never worn.

Maybe send some cash to sajetto, SoE, and you can wear them yourself if you are so bent on her keeping it. :sad2:
