Since realising that Legoland is not for me, but will be great for husband and 9 year old son as they both love lego, I decided to use that day of our trip to go shopping. So I was thinking of selling my ticket on ebay, but it has my name on the ticket. Would I still be able to sell it? Do they ask for ID of the person who buys it?

If it has your name on the ticket then it isn't transferable and I wouldn't sell it. Most dissers generally recommend that people do not buy admission media from ebay so I think it should also be recommended to folks that they not sell them there either.

Not sure but it seems like if your name is on the ticket then it probably can't be sold.

So, assuming you can't sell it and have already paid for it anyway, why not go and make the best of it! You might be surprised that you like it. It's not disneyland but it's a cute little park. Maybe you could just go for part of the day and then leave to do your shopping in the afternoon. You could act as photographer to capture all the father/son bonding with your DS and DH and then at lunch leave for your shopping trip.

Have a great trip!

I agree with all of this! I would at least give it a chance, then head out for an afternoon of shopping if it's not up to par, but I don't think you can sell your ticket.

Thanks for the encouragement. I think I will do just that; go for half a day then leave dh and ds and go off shopping! :)

OP you probably know this, but there is a fun outlet mall right next to Legoland. They have Crate and Barrel, Swaroski and all kinds of shops there. I think going to lego for a bit then hitting the outlet is a great idea. Don't miss Miniland at Lego though. I love looking at all the tiny cities. Amazing.
