Yes, it's possible to see the fireworks from some of the verandahs. However, many of those rooms receive a letter requesting that no one and nothing be on the verandahs during the fireworks due to the fall out.

I don't think you can hear the music and some of the fireworks will be out of view - it really wouldn't be the best view.

Any room recommendations for this?

Forward. Rooms midships and aft get the letter requesting occupants not view the fireworks from their verandas, as the fireworks are launched from that part of the ship.

That said, I know a lot of people go ahead and do it. We've watched them from the Promenade Deck as well, though the lifeboats can obstruct your view depending on where you're standing.

we had mid ship to aft deck 6 on our first cruise on the magic. We never received a letter (and our room steward chatted with us and even suggested it) so we sat out on our balcony and watched the fireworks. Definitely saw them going over our side (starboard side). We booked starboard midship again deck 6 on the Magic next sept for this same reason as our youngest just cant stay up long enough.
