I am an Annual Pass holder and will be in the parks at the end of Feb./beginning of Mar. I've heard several different answers to whether or not I will have a chance to have a sneak "peak" during this time. And what is a sneak "peak" anyway? Do I actually get to ride the ride, or just examine the queue, or what? DOES ANY ONE KNOW?

Just back from WDW Feb 3-11. Was at AK on Feb 7th. Ride was open and fastpasses were available. Upon arrival to WDW we were told it would be hit or miss whether the ride was open. From talking to other guests around the world, it seemed the ride was open more often then not during the week.

Hi and welcome to the DIS!

Yes, you do get to ride it! But you have to be in the right place at the right time...there is no set schedule. EE can open or close at any time between now and April 7, when it will officailly open.

Just as everyone else has posted here....

two of my friends just got back and they rode it 2 times, and it was closed once.

the CM told them that is is opened now for the "soft opening" which I guess is Disney for test runs!!!

good luck.

I hope its running when I'm there in a few weeks!!!

Is there any way to find out if EE is open from the enterance of the park?

My dad who is a SAP holder really wants to ride this one. We are only going to the parks on two days this time and his main goal is to ride this ride! :goodvibes

He is nearing 100 years old and at this point he is not planning on renewing his pass so he says this is his last trip to Disney. :sad2:

Can the desk at our Resort call over and see if EE is running or will we have to drive over there and ask people who are exiting the park?

We rode it three times last Monday. It is great. the second time I was in the front car............. What a view. Don't miss it.

From your ticker it looks like you are going in May....EE will be fully operational after April 7.

If you're going earlier, I apologize for not actually answering your question!

Even if it is running when you call that does not guarantee it will be running when you get to the ride.

You can ask at the Concierge deskat your resort (the one in the lobby). They will be able to tell you whether there are plans to run the ride, but not whether the ride is actually running at that moment or guarantee it will be open when you get there.

Yes...just look on the time wait board they have. It will tell you if it's open, and how long the stand by line is.

Thanks for the info on the time wait board. I hadnever noticed those so I will have to look for it.

Our big family trip is in May but I have a quickie planned with my parents for the beginnning of March. :sunny:
