Can I reserve now and apply discount code later?

I would like to book my room for May now so I can be sure I have it but I am sure there will be some kind of discount coming out later. Has anyone had any luck adding a discount code after a reservation has been made. We will be staying at POFQ if that makes any difference.

yep that's how I booked my trip, you might even find your self upgrading resorts for less money (I went from the POFQ to the AKL for less than I was planning on spending at POFQ)

That's what most people do, since they release codes so late =)

It is very easy. Just book your room and then check for codes. When you find a discounted rate the CRO will just modify your ressie. Keep in mind though, this way, the deposit will be higher. They will not refund any monies on your deposit if you get your room for a lower rate.

We do this every year. Reserve it in January for Nov/Dec. Typically either I or the travel agent finds a cheaper code around September timeframe. Our travel agent continually checks for rates/codes and adjusts our rate. I like that part as I don't have to keep up on it.
